If you claim to be lesbian or gay but you wouldn’t date a trans woman or man you are garbage and equate people to genitals good job super “radical” and “progressive”

replies to this post:

  • TERFs who don’t understand that you can be in a relationship without having sex
  • TERFs who think you can always immediately spot a trans person and therefore they could never unknowingly be attracted to a trans person!
  • TERFs insulting me for some dumb ass inapplicable reason i.e. don’t know how to form an argument
  • TERFs comparing trans people to rapists/abusers despite the fact that a great population of trans people are rape/abuse survivors including myself
  1. 99.9% of people want sex in their relationship though and sexual attraction doesn’t only matter during actual intercourse. I have to be sexually attracted to my partner to cuddle and hold hands and love her.
  2. Mistaking someone’s sex initially means nothing. Many people pass/are mistaken for the opposite sex, even cis people. When we realise that person we thought was a cute girl is actually a man it’s not bigoted of us to stop being attracted, even if he’s still pretty. Sexual and romantic relationships are more than quick assumptions.
  3. You deserve to be insulted tbh
  4. Having been raped does not mean you can’t say rapey things like “gay people are bad for not dating the opposite sex”

Same-sex attraction is not bigotry and never will be. Trying to police same-sex attraction is bigotry.
