When a radical feminist advices you not to wear makeup why do liberal feminists always fire back with “feminism is about women having a choice”

feminism isn’t about women choosing what oppressive “hobby” empowers them it’s about women being liberated from having to pick between having a nose job and being considered completley worthless without one, or wearing makeup and being considered unattracive- it’s about not having those two shitty options to pick from.

choices do not exist in a vacuum
