work bisexual told me that she thinks the reason one of our kids is so angry and mean is because she’s bisexual and all her friends are gay and she doesn’t have anyone to talk to about boys, and I wanted to scream because the thing is she does have bisexual friends!!!! and straight friends!!! there are very few girls in the program that identify exclusively as gay, rather they use loose identifiers like “I date girls.” she’s actually angry and mean because her mom is angry and mean, and it doesn’t have anything to do with imaginary bully lesbians that punish girls for their attraction to boys, something I have literally *never* witnessed in our setting, only *ever* homophobic bullying. I am really tired of bisexuals pulling this card when it is truly, truly a made up problem used to obfuscate real problems like *cups hands around mouth* homophobia and compulsory heterosexuality
