I remember hearing straight boys say “if lesbians don’t like men why do they use dildos” when I was like 14.

And here we are in 2018, and so called progressives are using it as a legitimate argument for why lesbians should sleep with males. The language has changed but the intent is the same. Lesbians are women who have set a boundary, as always it is questioned (“examine your genital preference”), mocked and outright called unacceptable.

interesting how it’s never “since hetero women like penis why don’t they have sex with other women with dildos?”, “since hetero men like to penetrate mouth and ass why don’t they have sex with other men since they have those things?”, “since hetero people masturbate and don’t hate their own sex’s genitals, why don’t they give a hand to the same sex?”. all questions equally as valid as thinking that if a lesbian likes the walls of her vagina massaged through a toy, she must like men too. 

rape culture is a tool of heterosexism and it depends on heterosexism to seem normal and not the degenerate depravity that it is. it’s extreme how normal this seems to people.
