ive said it before and i’ll say it a thousand times, when you hear a philosophical statement on forgiveness, even if it sounds nice, ALWAYS ask yourself “who stands to benefit from this? who will be hurt by this? who will be exploited by this?” manipulators love talk of “unconditional” loyalty and forgiveness because it benefits THEM.
