When I first came out I started following all these LGBT pages on Facebook, and DIVA magazine and such.
It was great; I felt represented and it was a way for me to break trough the heteronormativity of my life and everything I came in touch with.

But over the course of a year or two, I saw more and more things that I didn’t like, felt wrong and made me cringe.
I unfollowed most of the pages that I followed when I came out, because all I see is “queer”, “how to have lesbian sex with a penis” , “why lesbians are not being erased, because bi and trans have it harder”

I hardly see anything about lesbians anymore, unless it is to say we should date trans women, have sex with penis, or that we are being drama queens.
And I’m so fed up with it all.

Queer is a slur. And queer should not be used to describe a homosexual female, because we already have a word for it… LESBIAN

Lesbian is a female homosexual, attracted to the same sex.

No, I won’t ever date a trans woman. Pre-op or after-op.

Lesbians are being erased.

And yes, the trans community is harming us, by pushing the dangerous narrative that lesbians can and should have sex with a penis, only because the other person “identifies as a woman”.
I don’t want to be called slurs because I can’t change my sexuality. 
Being a lesbian is nothing to be ashamed of, and not liking penis is not something to fix (because that’s what you’re all implying)

And you’re not only harming the lesbians that have been sure about their identity for +10 years, but most of all, you’re harming the young lesbians coming to term with their sexuality.
Because they read your tumblr post, your articles and hear your hateful yelling and slurs, and think they need to have sex with penis, if it’s attached to a trans woman or else they’ll be shunned and called transphobic.

It is not okay, and I won’t stand for it anymore.

I won’t stand for the erasure of my sexuality.

I won’t stand for you harming the baby lesbians that are finding their way with their sexuality and being bullied into sex with a penis.

I’m sick and tired of it, and I won’t be quiet about it anymore.

You can unfollow me if you don’t agree, I don’t care.

But I won’t be quiet about the harm that is being done to the lesbian community. My community.

You severely underestimate males and their desire to fulfill their sexual needs by any means necessary. Men will risk their life, job, family, financial stability, reputation, etc if it means they get to cum in the end.
