You think women have comfortable lives? You think child brides have comfortable lives? Women sequestered in brothels? Trafficked by men to fulfill their dehumanizing demands? Women who worked farms and gave birth to 8 children with no personal or sexual satisfaction and then died in their 40′s when their bodies gave out? Women who are raped by soldiers? Rape by husbands they don’t love and had to marry out of necessity or family obligation? Women who have died in sickness and poverty after being widowed because their society is against them being self sufficient every miserable step of the way? Women who are thrown onto their husband’s funeral pyre because they’re no longer of use without him? Are those women comfortable?
You think Google could exist without the first computers and programmers? And the first computers were people, by the way, not machines. And mostly women. The first programmers too were mostly women.
