I read a book like this once

https://books.google.ca/books/about/Razorhurst.html?id=up_SAwAAQBAJ&redir_esc=y&hl=en

This is interesting and all, but children don’t become “sex workers” at age 12. Men start raping them at age 12

Fuck the liberal phrasing.

^ Agreed. There are no “sex workers” in this story, just underage and impoverished women being forced into prostitution. Enough of this ~empowered sex worker~ revisionism bs.

Im not gonna celebrate a woman who enabled men to buy, sell, and sexually abuse women, or the woman who thought it was acceptable to attack prostituted women with knives bc they “belonged” to her rival. What kind of fucked up nonsense….

Not all successful women should be celebrated. Espcially if their success came at the expense of other, more vulnerable, women.

Yeah this is fucking gross. They’re taking the story of two women who sold women off to men like cattle to be raped, and turning it into some stupid, fun little romp, as if it’s like a fucking roaring 20s version of Mean Girls or something. What the hell is wrong with liberal “feminists”? This is completely vile and these women were repulsive misogynists. Why are we celebrating them? Why are we romanticizing them?

That last picture especially is just plain sick. “Rejected princesses” with the two of them posing as if it’s some goddamn ad for a shitty Disney Channel movie? Fuck that, and fuck anybody who thinks that shit is cute.

This is not solidarity. These are not feminists. This isn’t a success storyx

The heroes of the story are the fucking prostituted women who were attacked and bought and sold and probably lived in fear until they died.

Not even named here. But lets name their pimps and celebrate them.

Thank yall, you said exactly what I was thinking. Can liberals please stop fucking normalizing and glorifying sex trafficking and paid rape?

westerners who look at these instagram hijabis or famous muslims like Ibtihaj Muhammad or Iman and Bella Hadid and think that its proof that muslim women have rights is the equivalent of people in third world countries who watch american media and sitcoms and think every american lives in a 3 story home in a major coastal city. your only seeing the lucky few.
