I hate the ubiquitous image of women and men as two halves of one whole. Especially when it gets explicit, like that lock and key metaphor…… It obviously only benefits men to think we are made for each other, and that the only drive we have is to reproduce. It’s easy to think that way when all reproduction for you means having fun while you blow your load.
Women are born whole, patriarchy cuts us in to pieces.
I remember hearing straight boys say “if lesbians don’t like men why do they use dildos” when I was like 14.
And here we are in 2018, and so called progressives are using it as a legitimate argument for why lesbians should sleep with males. The language has changed but the intent is the same. Lesbians are women who have set a boundary, as always it is questioned (“examine your genital preference”), mocked and outright called unacceptable.
Character idea: Mag’har orc who has a passion for writing but they break every pen they hold
“Once upon a-“ crck “fUCK”
“My family’s strength is nothing but a curse”
The orc, turning a page but rips it off in the process. Then slams the book down in protest only to ruin it further before desperately, with tears, scrambling up the pages to assemble it
This is my Wil’har Shakespear headcanon appearance. I hope you like it.
THE PERSON I HOOK UP WITH RECOGNIZED MY FIC AS MINE AS THEY READ IT BECAUSE THE SEX IN IT REMINDED THEM TOO MUCH OF THE SEX WE’VE HAD………. I WANT TO DIE……………….
