This is why the only porn you should consume is porn sold DIRECTLY from the people involved, and only when it’s been established that everyone is ok with it. If that’s too complicated, or you don’t want to pay, then stick to drawn or written porn. Or just don’t use porn at all.
Your sexual pleasure is NOT worth more than people’s well-beings.

An Orlando Police tweet later proved the efforts to stop the WBC worked.
Okay, but I’m actually crying tears of frustration, because the article doesn’t even mention the history behind this act.
There’s a reason this was undertaken by a theatre company. It means they knew The Laramie Project. It means they knew that the idea for the angel wings came from their use to block the WBC at the funeral of Matthew Shepard, a gay college student who was murdered in Wyoming in 1998.
The original “Angel Action” was a counterprotest organized by LGBTQ activist Romaine Patterson, who had been a friend of Shepard’s in high school. This is part of our history. We’ve been shielding our loved ones from hate groups while we bury our dead for decades – and that deserves acknowledgement.
Look at males, thinking exploiting our bodies is some high art. Males are the lowest common denominator.

literally means ‘weird’ even though our main point of activism for years has been that homosexuality is natural and common everywhere
does not acknowledge the individual realities of our sexualities, encouraging onlookers (and ourselves!) to see us as a homogenous mass of ‘the queers’ instead of addressing head-on why we’re different and why this is positive
literally doesn’t do anything. at all. chances are you’ve never actually been called queer if you’re middle class and western enough to reclaim it, so what do you get out of using the term other than a little bit of edge factor?

I’m not saying you have internalized homophobia because you don’t adopt it I’m saying you have internalized homophobia because you mock those who do and assume they have more privilege than you but i understand how it might’ve come off that way
I’m literally so confused by this post cause I’m queer and I identify that way because I also identify as lesbian, bisexual, or gay depending. Being queer easily encompasses all of me and describes me better than any of those other identities.
You can’t invalidate my identity cause you get offended by it. Being queer is who I am.
