why is it appropriate to call out transphobia within the gay community but calling out homophobia within the trans community is ridiculed and also a form of transphobia? this isn’t a rhetorical question, why is transness seen as the most marginalized identity, incapable of committing any form of bigotry? why is calling out any kind of bigotry in the trans community a form of transphobia? calling out white women’s racism isn’t misogyny, calling out black men’s misogyny isn’t racist (unless the language used to frame the discussion is misogynistic/racist) so why is calling out homophobia in the trans community transphobic?? hello.

The best advice I can give any young lesbian is don’t rush into things. There is so much pressure to be in a relationship, but being single is wonderful. Dating around is wonderful. As much as we all joke about u-hauling and rushing in, there is beauty in carefully and slowly crafting a relationship, and beauty in not having one.
