i came across a subreddit called r/deadbedrooms when i was lurking on another subreddit and wew. i realize that sex is a very important part of relationships and repeated rejection can cause mental distress but um. the solution is to find someone who you are more sexually compatible with and is more into you. someone with a similar sex drive. i read so many stories of women w low libidos having sex with their husbands to save their relationships. sex they didnt really want to make their husbands happy. relationships are about compromise but sex is one of those things that you can’t compromise on. sex you don’t want hurts the soul. having sex to make someone else happy is bad for you. i even saw another thread about a man who recently found out his wife of 10+ years was a CSA survivor and it was making sex difficult for her especially after giving birth and he was all like. hi everyone. how can i enter a polyamorous relationship since my traumatized wife wont suck my dick. god

i did see another interesting, recurring thing. women with higher libidos than their husbands bc their husbands were addicted to porn and couldnt get it up/cum unless they were watching porn while having sex. i guess the moral of the story is that men’s pleasure is the end all, be all of relationships. im sad lol

according to reddit i have sexually abused every man i gave a disinterested blowjob too

A woman enduring unwanted sex to keep her husband happy while ignoring her own feelings: Abusive and disrespectful.

A man coercing his wife to have sexual intercourse she doesn’t want and ignoring the fact that she clearly isn’t into it: A basic human need. Completely fine.

“Dead bedrooms” could be 100% solved if men would stop being selfish entitled pigs and actually make a woman cum for once.

It basically boils down to men not giving a shit about their partners pleasure then being surprised when she loses interest in sex.

Ok so there’s actually something I really want to note about Elliot Rodger. His manifesto has been leaked for a while now. I read the whole thing and recommend anyone with an interest in true crime to read it too when they have the time. It’s very long but very insightful to him as a person and imo explains a lot on his motives with are 100% based on his hatred of women

But one thing has stuck out with me that really just solidifies my opinion on a topic: Elliot was exposed to pornography on a few different occasions. His first by a stranger he interacted with on a messaged site who linked him images of naked women (which Elliot says left him “traumatized”), then he stumbled upon a man watching porn in public, which was his first encounter with “real” porn. He said he didn’t know anything about sex at the time and it made him begin to think sexually of hot girls he saw. Then there was when he and his family took a trip to Morocco and he turned 14. That was his first “official” viewing of porn. He felt revulsion from it and also arousal, and it only made his desire for sex with pretty women worse. Sex haunted him, and I sound dramatic because he himself was dramatic about it. Porn only fueled his violent misogyny.

I fully believe that if Elliot had had no exposure to porn he’d still have been a misogynist. There are so many other things he wrote about that I just cannot conceive of him being anything but. That said, the impact porn had on him is very important to note, because I skimmed through his manifesto again to get to those separate parts and it is incredibly evident that porn had a major affect on his development. His account of being “traumatized” by it really solidifies the fact that porn has negative impact on a persons sexuality and sexual function.

What does this say about our society as a whole for continuing to allow such a harmful substance to be easily accessible to anyone of any age so long as they have the internet and the ability to click “yes, I am 18+”. We have a plethora of scientific data and even testimonials from people in the industry as well as a spree killer’s manifesto at our fingertips, yet no one wants to address it.

@antiporn-activist hope you don’t mind me @‘ing you I just think this would be something interesting if u haven’t already got a post on the subject

i do think that pornography drives the incels because they believe in the narrative. they believe that women exist to be fucked, that women will fuck everyone they meet, and then they’re outraged when it doesn’t play out like that in real life.
