the trans dating discourse is useless. everyone knows what the correct answer is to “would you date a trans person?”. all you have to say is “of course!”, even if it’s a lie, and people will leave you alone. it says nothing about what you’d actually do in real life, so it’s useless for gauging someone’s true feelings.

additionally, wanting to date and/or have sex with someone does not mean you respect them or support their rights. there’s plenty of men hiring trans women for prostitution but they’re sure as hell not on the front lines of trans activism. either way, it’s a stupid way to gauge someone’s support of trans people.

It’s a great way to guilt women into sex though, which is why it keeps happening.

trans women don’t get to speak on behalf of women

if you have a different opinion you can go fuck yourself

Cis women dont get to speak on behalf of all women either. Especially white cis ablebodied women.

So, conveniently, only people of the male sex get to speak for women. Amazing.

Literally no one said that. Good try.

Fuck, I’ll say it: as only trans women have genuinely universally female experiences, only trans women get to speak for all women. The rest of us can sit down and shut the fuck up.

“No one says that” and then someone comes along and says what they all are actually saying. Amazing.

Trans women aren’t female and therefore don’t have experience with being female. Period.
