I’m done. I quit. I want absolutely no part of the poisoned alphabet soup anymore. I’m seeing more and more non-satirical articles and social media posts essentially arguing for adding “KPPI” (Kink, Polygamy, Pedos, and Incest) to the end of the increasingly-long, increasingly-convoluted acronym, and I want nothing to do with this shit. I just want to be gay in peace and be a monogamous prude growing veggies in my yard and fostering shelter pets with my hypothetical future wife. I don’t want the struggle for my rights as a homosexual female to be associated with perversions and the endangerment of women and children. Keep that shit away from me.

Someone please, please tell me these articles are being written by propagandists (or a non-Tumblr Russian psyop—something) trying to convince the world that legalizing same-sex marriage and creating legal protections for homosexuality really was the slippery slope to polygamy, then incest, pedophilia, and finally besiality that rightwingers constantly claimed it would be. I can’t believe publications would legitimately post this kind of shit without some ulterior motive of taking away the rights of lesbians and gay men.
