I’m thinking about changing that! I don’t have many problems with straight radfems I see, it’s just that I prefer to have followers and to follow people who can understand most of the issues I reblog and talk about, because most of my focus is on lesbian feminism and gay/lesbian issues. Straight women can follow, but just know that a lot of what I talk about is focused on lesbians.

simple: i don’t have a “male gaze” because i’m not a man, and neither do you. our sexual desire for women and our attraction to women isn’t like a man’s in any way, shape, or form. fighting internalized and external homophobia is tough, especially with the nice little tumblr trend of hating lesbians or just pretending like lesbians don’t have sexual desires beyond soft gentle handholding or some shit

like yes i am more than aware that gay men are capable of being just as misogynistic as straight men, and i will call them out on it just as i would with straight men, but to see a lot of radfems (especially straight ones) spew shit that’s nearly identical to homophobes (gay sex is gross, gay sex isn’t natural, etc.) isn’t radical at all lol
