I love being a homosexual. I love same-sex attraction and women’s bodies and the culture lesbians and bi women have cultivated together over so many years.

I love that my attraction isn’t based on the oppressive, infantilising concept of gender. Women do not equal femininity, some feminine ‘essence’, a ‘feeling’, or anything else relying on such vague descriptors. These are not sufficient to describe or encapsulate the female experience. To say otherwise is exceptionally misogynistic.
