at the end of the day no matter what your politics are, no matter how you define ~lesbian~ there have always been women who are sexually attracted to other women with vulvas.  and the following has always been true:

1. they have always been horrifically marginalized
2. they will continue to be horrifically marginalized
3. they cannot change their sexuality

and at the end of the day no matter what your politics are, doing the following things will always be horrifically homophobic:

1. asking them to change/reconsider their orientation because it doesn’t include you
2. calling them fetishistic or perverted or unnatural/telling them to change the name of their orientation to something that sounds fetishistic or perverted or unnatural
3. wishing them violence or death because of their orientation
4. telling them to never talk about their orientation
5. wishing their orientation didn’t exist
