it’s really interesting how when boys doodle dicks on their papers in class no one says anything. you can find dick graffiti in cities. phallic imagery in movies is so common place we don’t even realize it anymore. there’s a lot of sex positivity for straight girls explicitly going “yeeahh bitch get that dick” or “uuuh yeah honey ride that cock” and no one blinks an eye.

and janelle monae makes one 4 minute video featuring heavy yonic imagery and people lost their shit. calling her transphobic, exclusive, etc because of it.

yet no one says anything about transphobia when people are talking about dicks. you could almost assume it’s not about transphobia and more about misogyny, about female sexuality still being treated as shameful and bad, as something that should be hidden away. about a woman saying “i like pussy” as an act of brutal violence against men because she is not interested in him.

it shows that we need a lot more videos like pynk, until it’s normal to talk about female sexuality. until women have the right to be open about their sexuality too. until female homosexuality is treated as normal and not something that is somehow hurting men.
