Very sad that it’s so common to see women trying to distance themselves from womanhood by using stupid they/them pronouns (or even worse he/him) because she doesn’t want to be subjected to the stereotypes and roles that come with being female… like instead of just being a gender non-conforming woman who loves herself she feels the need to disassociate with womanhood altogether because she knows it’s a shit gig to be a woman. She thinks that just because she doesn’t fit that gender role that she’s just not a woman. And you can’t not hate yourself while at the same time pretending to be something you’re not. These girls so clearly need to be shown that they’re allowed to love themselves as the women they are and that they can break away from gender roles and stereotypes and still be themselves
