Sorry very much, “her parents took her away and brought back a son/they had a funeral for their daughter”???  THAT IS APPALLING OMFG.  It’s appalling for two reasons, the first being in 1913 THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS TRANS PEOPLE OR TRANSITION, LITERALLY N O ONE THOUGHT LIKE THIS!!!

Look, you ass, the first trans person in history died from medical abuse and cosmetic surgery, in the 1930s, and he was a serious outlier, not a social revolution.  Your grandma didn’t understand transgender, she understood what religious conservatives always understand, it’s better to live a lie than to be GAY.

Second, lesbian female history is littered with women who were forced to hide in order to be who they really were, and what they really were WAS NOT A DUDE.

I know plenty of people who don’t understand transgender.  Why?  Not because of bigotry, but because it is not possible to understand something as historically anachronistic and dishonest as the modern trans activist movement.  But everyone I know would understand the story in your tweets– another lesbian gets erased.  Because that’s what your cousin was, and what she wasn’t allowed to be.  Short of her parents killing her and bringing back a literal boy, this story couldn’t be any worse.  That’s not tale of acceptance and the wonderful ability of THE LORD to make people do WHAT’S RIGHT.  That’s a story of oppression, lost to history now, no way to make anything right, told by outsiders, to impress a bunch of historically illiterate children on the internet.
