People who say this just want women to bear the brunt of men’s shitty socialization, because violence at home is easy to ignore. We don’t see headlines about the domestic violence and murder of intimate partners that occurs every day. They don’t want those violent men to heal or be corrected, they want them to keep their abuse private like all the other violent men have learned to.
