Women provided over 80% of the diet for most hunter-gatherer tribes, from foraging and small game, not to mention they invented agriculture. So I think what you meant to say is men were programmed to be parasites.

Men love to over-exaggerate their contributions to society, and pretend women did nothing but give birth.
