Basically, I think it’s absolutely bananas that male people–who still get read as men, with male-coded names, who dress according to society’s expectation of men, and otherwise live their lives as men–are not only able to call themselves lesbians unchecked but are celebrated by sects of queer community by virtue of using she/her pronouns and “identifying as a lesbian”. What do I have in common with them on terms of gender or sexuality? Nothing. It’s just words. It’s just blabber. It’s not useful or helpful.

The funniest part is that apparently now pronouns =/= gender, so you can be a gender comforming heterosexual male with a beard who goes by Jack and uses he/him pronouns, and still be a “lesbian” because you say so
