It’s honestly hilarious how many of you will parade around in corny “gender is a social construct” shirts and crap like that but the minute someone actually practises gender critical feminism you throw a tantrum because you don’t want to acknowledge how much of your worldview relies on gender roles and misogyny

Gender is a social construct but my gender identity is totally real and not impacted by social constructs at all!!

I shit you not a trans woman I follow on insta posted something about how “gender is performative” and I’m sat there like… if gender is performative does that mean your identity as a woman is a performance and the makeup you wear is your costume? You either believe that gender is a social construct and you’re just a male who likes to be feminine or you believe gender is innate and you are inherently a woman no matter what. The doublethink is so strong.

They wanna emulate radical ideology to sound edgy and counter-cultural without actually having to lift a finger to support it.
