Ever notice that women usually stop referring to themselves as ‘girls’ by age 20 at the latest but trans identified males refer to themselves as ‘girls’ infinitum? Really makes you wonder how deep the infantilization fetish really goes

Call me crazy but I think part of the appeal of the current trans trend is fueled by fear of aging. Grown men become “trans girls”, talk about going through a “second puberty”, seem to be obsessed with stereotypical teenage girl things and talk about how they were tragically robbed of these experiences they act like are typical for every teenage girl. And of course sexualizing girlhood and everything about women is a factor there.

Grown women may be more likely to call themselves “trans men” but even as they age into their 30′s they will only ever pass as a very young man. And many of them seem to default back to names and styles that were popular with teenage boys when they were a teen.
