My barely 14 year old sister wrote a paper for school on the harmful effects of pornography on her generation. She said that the Internet has made it more accessible than ever before, and as a result, kids are getting exposed to explicit content at ridiculously young ages. She talked about how it contributes to aggression in teenage boys, both on a daily basis and in sexual situations. She said that teenage girls constantly feel social pressure to do sexual favors for boys: like send them nudes, sext them, or even engage in the sort of aggressive sex that they fantasize about due to their porn use. She said that it’s a social norm for high school boys to pressure girls into violent sex.

What the fuck does this say about our society? This is a child. Yet the effects of pornography are so evident on young boys that she was able to recognize this as a problem before she’s even had “the talk” or mandatory Sex Ed. She is a CHILD and clearly she and her friends are experiencing these things firsthand! Yet pornography is still an accepted aspect of society, there are still people advocating for a growing porn industry, still consuming porn, still standing up for kinksters. It’s hurting our children and we’d rather close our eyes and let them suffer!

When we have a whole generation of rapist men with sadistic tendencies and erectile dysfunction I don’t want to hear a DAMN PEEP from 3rd wave feminists, with their sex positivity, anti-slut shaming crap. I can name at least one little girl that your shitty feminism is actively hurting. One is too many, but I’m sure there are millions of others standing behind her. Take a look in the goddamn mirror and think about who’s really benefiting from your activism.
