This is incredibly, INCREDIBLY disrespectful, both to Freddie himself and the LEGION of others who died during the AIDS crisis.

You could get all your queer history from Tumblr and come away with no clue that the AIDS crisis even happened. Ageism, homophobia, and serophobia are rampant on this site, as well as historical revisionism. The fact that straight people do it too in no way mitigates this.

The difference is that straights do it to deliberately erase us, while the tumblr problems are due mostly to simple ignorance.
