They hated us when they thought we were “possessed by the devil”, when homosexuality was classified as a mental illness, when they called it a “lifestyle”, and they STILL hate us now despite all the evidence that being gay isn’t a choice.

The idea of scientists actively searching for ways to differentiate between potentially gay and straight fetuses is indeed very scary but this is a product of homophobia, not homosexuality being biological. If you can’t understand that then I don’t know what to tell you but please stop trying to speak for us.

Sexual orientation is not something you can change or force. Y’all can keep crying about this but gay people will never be attracted to the opposite sex, it doesn’t matter whether the opposite sex identifies as cis or trans. Homosexuality already is “trans inclusive love”. There have always been interconnections between cis gay men and trans women, between cis lesbians and trans men. This doesn’t fit your political agenda but there’s nothing you can do about it.

as a visual arts major with no clue, i whole heartedly agree that it’s unbelievably stupid to try to speak on behalf of gay people without actually knowing what we think, and then get pissed off when gay people tell you you’re wrong.
