Fat people aren’t oppressed. People hate women whether they’re fat or thin and nobody cares how fat men get, that’s not oppression because of weight lmao it’s sexism

I feel like oppression and privilege can only really be applied to characteristics you can’t change

like race, sexual orientation, sex etc

whereas discrimination can occur because of unchangeable things mentioned above and also changeable things like weight, ugliness (e.g. acne) pregnancy etc

I might be wrong but that’s how I see oppression and privilege. If you can make yourself un-oppressed, it probably wasn’t oppression in the first place.
