Not talking about sex-based oppression means FGM will never stop.

Not talking about sex-based oppression means femicide will never stop.

Not talking about sex-based oppression means forced pregnancy will never stop.

Not talking about sex-based oppression means forced marriages will never stop.

Not talking about sex-based oppression means sexual slavery will never stop.

Not talking about sex-based oppression means medical abuse during pregnancy and childbirth will never stop.

Not talking about sex-based oppression means date rape will never stop.

Not talking about sex-based oppression means domestic abuse will never stop.

Not talking about sex-based oppression means male violence will never. stop.

We need to talk about exclusively female experiences. If we had never talked about them, women would not have any fucking rights whatsoever to date. We can never stop talking about this.

The moment we shut up, the moment we let inclusivity win, the moment we censor talk of our own lived experiences, the moment we stop fighting for FEMALE liberation, is the moment the male class wins.

Do not be complacent in your own oppression in order to accommodate male feelings and sexist ideas of what womanhood is, or in order to perpetuate your western privilege of (trying to) identify out of your oppression. Stand together with your fellow women. Be loud. Be obnoxious. Wave your period art around, love your vulva, discuss what it’s really like to be a woman, and never stop. Don’t let them think they’ve won. Don’t let them silence us. Be liberated.
