i want to throw up. this was a homophobic hate crime. and no explanation of the context will satisfy these people who’ve decided it was justified. happy pride

these ppl forget that lesbians are raped and murdered at a an astounding rate. 

but what gets me is that these people are willing to throw lesbians under the bus for a tiny subset of the lgbt community. lesbians didn’t fight tooth and nail, for centuries, in countries where their existence is punishable by death, in eras where their love was worthy of ostracization, for the community to become this vile. to forget where they came from. This Pride month, it’s imperative we keep fighting. Lesbians, unfortunately, still have so long to go.

I genuinely hope these people are wracked with guilt one day. I hope they realize their words and actions have caused unimaginable pain to Lesbians.
