honestly? hearing that justin trudeau groped a woman when he was 18 doesn’t surprise me. in fact, when any politician or celebrity who was previously believed to be a “good guy” is outed as a rapist or predator, it doesn’t surprise me anymore. it’s not like this particular man happens to be an asshole, it’s a social endemic of violence against women that has created a society in which socialized men to believe that women are property. i don’t even think we’ve scratched the surface of abusive men working in government, entertainment, and practically every other industry on earth. this isn’t a problem that exists on an individual level, this is a male problem.
