No. It’s for comfort. Like I’m not rubbing my hands together and grinning evilly when someone uses he/him pronouns. I use them cause I like them and I like expressing myself that way. When people do use them for me it’s like “! They care enough about me to forgo the societal norms of pronouns! :D” and if they don’t I don’t care unless they’re doing it to fuck with me. Which is shitty.
