a lot of the examples people give about how patriarchy harms men are bullshit also I don’t have any sympathy for men who claim to be harmed by patriarchy. idk any other social movement that focuses so much on how x oppressive system harms the oppressor.

“Toxic masculinity” discourse focuses on the harm men do to themselves while oppressing women, implying that the ideal would be Healthy Masculinity, a way for men to oppress women but also be more in touch with their feminine sides
