The fuck is wrong with you OP? Yes, we have to fight to be able to openly be homosexual, something that is still punished by imprisonment or death in some parts of the world. 

And a bunch of straight people coming along and using the shiny new gender identity trend to put a new angle on the same old reasons heterosexuals have for gay and lesbians to stop being homosexual isn’t doing anything new.
