The more I think about it the more I can’t believe that the ‘cotton ceiling’ exists as a concept. Like, you know we’re living in a woman hating world when the underwear of women – specifically lesbians – are posited as a barrier to male equality. You know the world is a sick place when sexual access to women’s bodies is seen as a legitimate political battle to be waged, with women being told to examine why we don’t want dick.
