The reason the tomboy “finds her confidence” in every movie and gets a big makeover where she learns to act sexy and like a girl is because theyre all written and directed by men. To them the only reason a woman wouldn’t want to cater to male desire is if she’s ugly and cripplingly insecure about her looks.
