I just had lunch with my friend from Nicaragua and he told me about this tradition they have where fathers take their sons to a brothel once they turn 18 to show that they are “men” now. This reminded me of the post where a radfem was talking about phenomenon like this where fathers actively perpetuate the cycle of objectification and abuse of women, and these dudes were calling her crazy and saying shit like this doesn’t happen🙄

Eyyyyyy that post was me (or maybe there are others). Why do males insist on denying this shit? It’s pretty widely fucking known that males teaching their sons to see women as objects is a rite of passage into manhood for men. You have one half pretending it’s not true then the other half bragging about it.
