Is the control of reproductive rights based on pronouns, or is one set in control of the other one?
Are brides asked their pronouns before being burned? Are girls asked their pronouns before getting their genitals mutilated? Before getting their breasts ironed? Before getting payed less?

Saying that female oppression is based on our “gender identity” implies that we chose to be oppressed. Not only does that distort the truth about misogyny, but it is also victim blaming at its finest.
Nobody asked my identity when I was sex trafficked. Nobody asked my pronouns when I got pregnant from rape at 11 and needed an illegal abortion. Nobody asked about my gender feelings or crazy specific sexuality label when I was attacked for being a homosexual. Sex-based oppression is the reality. Identity-based oppression is bullshit.
