Misogynist arguments against feminists often include these gems (which are, not coincidentally, the same arguments that abusers use):
The “Nuh Uh” – What you’re talking about doesn’t happen. Men don’t do that. Your experiences are fake. It’s never happened to me or I don’t notice it therefore it doesn’t happen. You imagined it.
The Hysterical Woman – You’re overreacting. It’s not that big of a deal.
Be Grateful – Other women have it worse elsewhere. Therefore what you’re talking about isn’t a big deal. You should be grateful that you’re not treated like that, because men have the power to do much worse to you if they wanted! Kiss their feet for their boundless charity to women for not doing worse.
The Oppression Olympics – There are other problems in the world that are bigger than this. This is the oppression olympics and only the most suffering are permitted to speak, because I’m going to pretend that people are only capable of being concerned about one thing (although I don’t listen to those people either, I’m just trying to silence you)!
Slurs/Insults – I’m not actually going to make any points against what you said. I probably didn’t even read your whole post, but you’re not catering to men so I’m going to try to harass you and use as many slurs as I can to upset/silence you. I also fantasize that you’re very concerned about whether or not an abusive stranger on the internet deems you attractive.
