I can’t believe how many libfems are totally chill with the fact that women today are expected to paint on a whole new face every single day (often a standardized face which changes with fashion trends) even if it takes hours to do, and that women will be materially punished (less likely to receive raises, less likely to be hired after an interview, less likely to be taken seriously in the workplace and literally everywhere else) if she doesn’t do it either for political reasons or because she just doesn’t wanna. I mean I can believe it just fine, but I can’t wrap my head around being perfectly fine with that.
