i grew up in a little desert valley called Tucson, Arizona, where it only rains 2 inches a year on average. the majority of the city’s water is pumped from an underground aquifer, which took millions of years to fill. one of the biggest conservation efforts in our city was for water, naturally, and i spent a lot of time learning about low flow toilets and 5 minute showers. i learned that filling your sink basin and washing your dishes in that water is less costly than running the tap. i learned that it only takes 2 days without water on the desert for someone to die
the city was sinking as the aquifer drained. neighborhoods fell into flood zones that didnt exist 10 years ago
there’s a road called Golf Links in the city and it is lined with golf courses. miles of green grass where grass doesn’t grow, in a valley where it doesn’t rain. why? because the rich white retirees who moved there to stop the aching in their joints decided they should also get to play golf. meanwhile our public schools taught small children like me that taking long showers would kill the world

Um you do realize that the ONLY reason that the age of consent exists is to prevent children & adults from having sex because they would do it like rabbits if there was no law against it.

Honestly, probably. & I believe that statistic is incorrect but for the sake of discussion let’s say it’s true, wouldn’t that indicate to you that men ARE desperate to do evil disgusting things but the only thing stopping them is fear of consequences be they physical or metaphysical in nature be it prison or hell or negative karma or whatever. Humans not just men but all humans would do those actions which are against the law if there weren’t a law, that’s the only reason such laws exist. If laws didn’t exist society would crumble into anarchy, drug use & rampant fornication & that would only be reduced by the fear of STDs just look at how much people were fucking and using back in the 70’s before the fear of aids came about, seriously humans give in to their demons faster than you can say boo when there isn’t any fear of reprisal. I’m sure the sales of beef skyrocketed when the pope lifted the restrictions on eating meat on Friday. People are only as virtuous as society dictates. I personally wouldn’t rape because I don’t want to because I know how traumatic it is but if there were no sexual harassment laws I would grope any big boobies I see because I’m so starved of physical contact but I don’t do it because I understand it’s a form of sexual assault and tantamount to rape so even if it were declared legal I probably wouldn’t do it except for in extreme circumstances of boobs bigger than my head or something like that. I may be a pervert but I have my limits I’m just saying most people don’t or have much lower standards because I honestly am virtuous however if they abolished the age of consent I wouldn’t pursue a relationship with a child but if a girl hit on me I wouldn’t care about her age. & I’m fairly certain most men would tell you the same most would probably draw the line at say 14-16 somewhere in there personally I would probably draw the line at 10 but I would flirt with anyone that started it without fear of their parents beating me up. I’m sorry to drivel on like this but I’m bored.

So the only reason you don’t go around sexually harassing and assaulting women and children is due to the law. That’s really sad and scary, thanks for reaffirming that we should be scared of men. Honestly I’m a little tired of the abortion discussion centering around child raising and such. Like, if I got pregnant today, and someone offered to adopt the child and pay for my medical bills and everything, I still would have an abortion? You know why? Because I don’t want to be pregnant. I don’t want to put my body through that for nine months. And I don’t want to risk my life in childbirth. Fact is no one will be able to do that for me, so untimately it’s my choice and that’s all there is to it.
