I tried making a post discussing the effects porn has on young girls who view it, specifically from my perspective as one of them, but I think it was too detailed and graphic. So I just want to say this:
Girls, please don’t watch porn. It messes with your mind and it hurts your self worth in so many ways. I can’t watch any type of sex scene in movies or TV shows now without having violent reactions to it. I understand being curious about sex, but looking at porn is never going to give you the right answers (you can ask me anything if you have no one else you feel you can ask about it). The pressure to be able to keep up with guys when they talk about sex or porn is awful now days, but it will hurt you more to try. You don’t need to have sex, be with a man, like any specific sex act or anything like that. I truly believe at this point that BDSM is self harm for most women and if you’re interested in that, please question yourself why. You’re all wonderful and you have so much going for you. You’re funny and talented and emotional and smart and caring. Please don’t force yourself into needing men’s attention and validation. You’re perfect just the way you are. So please, don’t watch porn.

So I just saw this reddit thread and am disgusted. A mother is upset that her son is watching rape porn, that her daughter saw it, and that the children’s father is okay with it. Most of the commenters think she’s the one in the wrong and even scold her for “kink shaming” her son.
Men’s dicks mean more to them than women’s lives.
Why would someone get sexual pleasure from hurting them? Why would someone want to be misogynistic towards women “just for fun”? Why would someone be aroused by rape and sexual pain?
Also, BDSM is not a sexual orientation. Sexual orientation refers to which sex(es) you’re attracted to.
Men aren’t trustworthy, the vast majority of them hate us. They see their dicks as more of a person than actual human females (women).
Porn shouldn’t be accepted. Rape on camera shouldn’t be accepted. Sadism on camera shouldn’t be accepted. Misogyny isn’t acceptable, no matter the case. The fact that all of this stuff is accepted is because society, especially men, hate women.
porn has become so normalised that men don’t see how a woman and her daughter would be offended by a boy watching and getting off to women being raped and abused. that’s sick.
This is so disgusting I don’t even know what to say. And to think men consider this normal or even tame. You’re never gonna know who’s watching this vile shit. Scary.
I think it’s even specific to transwomen’s male privilege. If transmen were shooting up people at the rate that men do, we’d be hearing about it.
If you listen to MRA chatter, they love quoting a study about how lesbians have ‘more violent relationships’ without mentioning that the violence occurs while lesbians are in relationships with men, which naturally doesn’t go well, and we are victims of high rates of abuse within those relationships. I can’t imagine how it would be twisted if lesbians just starting murdering women at these rates.
