“Lily” Madigan would’ve literally been ridiculed, shunned, and made an absolute joke of if he were actually a woman. Women in politics don’t get to talk about their stigmatized mental illnesses—heck, even “cis” men don’t do that in politics. Also, young women in politics don’t get to act like quirky meme-queens on their social media accounts. Lily Madigan’s success is so clearly due to the fact he’s trans, and also due to Labour’s pandering (and misogyny tbh)
