my niece is 11 months old and still not walking and she came round the other day wearing this huge long dress thing that was so big it kept getting under her feet when she tried to stand up and crawl forwards!!
and I said to my sister “that dress is way too long for her she can’t even crawl and walk” and my sister was like “if it was any shorter you’d see her bum!” like????? that annoyed me so much she is a baby and her clothes are getting in the way of her movements already and who cares if you can see a baby’s nappy like………. they’re babies
The reason the tomboy “finds her confidence” in every movie and gets a big makeover where she learns to act sexy and like a girl is because theyre all written and directed by men. To them the only reason a woman wouldn’t want to cater to male desire is if she’s ugly and cripplingly insecure about her looks.
this isn’t a particularly hot new take, but it’s pretty fucked up how women are supposed to “just give him a chance” when a guy she isn’t sexually attracted to is interested in her, meanwhile men will treat women that they find unattractive as essentially worthless!
